Raifalsa.fr combines a rich heritage of tradition and know-how through our local products and our revenues to our own "alsacienne" culture.

Raifalsa was founded in Northern Alsace at Mietesheim in 1956, became and remains today the only company processing horseradish in France. The originality of this work was to offer for sale in the display (meat, grocery, ...) a horseradish Alsace * ready for use, ie, grated and packaged in glass. At that time, consumption of horseradish, which is closely linked to the dish pot-au-feu, is cultivated in the kitchen garden and was prepared by the consumer directly.

The product is consumed mainly in the Germanic culture but is also occasionally on other markets (counties of West and South of France, the USA with New York, Great Britain, China, Canada, Russia ...). Raifalsa is the only French company at the heart of the European region of consumption. Its originality is also at its local supply chain. Indeed, Raifalsa uses only locally grown roots, which, combined with knowledge of manufacturing ensures the traditional horseradish flavor and taste spicy and very aromatic.

Today, the horseradish is commonly used in cooking to identify dishes such as sauerkraut, pot au feu, but with smoked fish or in broth, or sauces to complement for salads or vegetables appetizer.

In January 2006, Raifalsa has expanded its range of Alsacian sauces and approvals by acquiring the company Brothers Stumpf, last MUSTARD Alsace founded in 1873 and which has the particularity of the manufacture of sweet mustard Alsace . This mustard d'Alsace is made from white and black seeds. It is used to identify the various dishes of meat or sausages, but also to be worked pallet devilled or rabbit sauce with its variants such as riesling or beer which gives it a particular taste.

The combination of these skills in mustard and horseradish allows the company to offer a variety of sauces but also to make a sauce for industry, wholesalers and caterers who wish to customize their range.
